I want to share with you a really beautiful song by Hillsong Worship that I heard yesterday, but before that, I want to do a short message on the meaning of the word “Emmanuel”.
Now most of us already know that Emmanuel means God with us. But as I was meditating upon this last night, the Holy Spirit began to show me a very interesting perspective of how this word can impact our lives mightily.
So I was pondering over this and the Lord asked me, “If God is with you, doesn’t that also mean that He is for you?”
And that immediately reminded me of Moses in Exodus 33:15, when he told God, “If Your Presence does not go with us, do not bring us up from here.”
And it dawned on me that without the Presence of the Lord in our lives, we are truly powerless. But here God tells us that He is not only with us, but He is also for us!
And I want to leave you with three beautiful Scriptures that you can confess and speak out into your life every single day, and I pray that it would be a Rhema to you, giving you boldness and grace each day, just as it did for me
Be Blessed this Christmas Season !!
