Be Still and Know

Many of us in our pursuit of "finding" God be it in the midst of a financial difficulty or a broken relationship, or any other matter like a trying period or even out of a simple wanting for more of God, often overlook a simple method that God wants His children to remember.

Be still, and KNOW that I am God. Psalm 46:10

We know from Scripture that God is omnipresent, being everywhere and existing in all things (Psalm 139:7–10).

.

And it’s only when we come to a place where we can accept and understand that God isn’t hiding in some place far from us waiting to be discovered or that we have to "do" something in order for us to be connected to Him – only then will we be truly able to discover the Presence & the Person of God Almighty, living in each one of us & manifesting Himself, His Nature of Abundance & Joy, through the magnificent creation that each and everyone of us are!

Now that’s quite a mouthful for us to swallow, so let’s break it down.

Firstly, I know that some of you will say "but but but.. The BIBLE SAYS, the pure in heart shall SEE God!! Or or or… TASTE & SEE that the Lord is good!"

Who are the pure in heart? How do you have a pure heart? We know by now that all of us, ALL of us have failed God (Romans 3:23) and that we humans above all else have wicked hearts (Jeremiah 17:9).

God knew that we would NEVER be able to qualify for any of His blessings yet alone to even be able to SEE Him, but out of His extreme love for us, He sent His perfect Son to become our sacrifice ONCE & FOR ALL to make us perfect.

How do we have a pure heart? By knowing what HE did for us at the Cross.

The definition of the word “Know” according to dictionary.com is

“to perceive or understand as fact or truth; to apprehend clearly and with certainty”

.

When we can be still & Know God, we will begin seeing God’s Goodness manifest around us. When we begin to Know that God is living in us & living through us and is present all things, we will begin to be in sync with His divine Presence that’s in us and around us.

When we begin to Know God, we will begin to become that which God is to those around us, and others will begin to SEE & TASTE & HEAR the voice of God – IN YOU, because YOU ARE that perfect Presence of Yahweh portraying & manifesting His beauty & His love through His amazing creation WHICH IS YOU!

So brethren, what are you trying to manifest today? What is it that you need "God" to do for you which He HAS ALREADY given you the power to do?

Start experiencing and feeling the Presence of the Lord in your lives, in your surroundings, in everything that you do, and once you begin Thinking like Him, Speaking like Him, Behaving like Him, You BECOME Him to yourselves and to others.

For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God. Romans 8:19
